Season 4 – October 2008 - March 2009

Tournament Rules:

1. The tournament will be played in 3 categories:
Category 1: Men and Ladies HCP <17.9
Category 2: Men and Ladies HCP 18.0-HCP 27.9
Category 3: Men and Ladies HCP >28.0

2. A valid Handicap certificate is required.

3. Tee Times will be drawn within categories: alternating between Lucky Draw, then Handicap, then Order of Merit Position.

4. Order of Merit Points will be allocated as follows:
Category 1: 1st-16 points, 2nd- 12 points, 3rd- 8 points, 4th- 6 points, 5th- 4 points, 6th- 3 points.
Category 2: 1st- 10 points, 2nd- 6 points, 3rd- 4 points, 4th-3 points.
Category 3: 1st- 6 points, 2nd- 4 points, 3rd- 3 points.
Participation, all categories: 1 point.

5. Prizes:
Category 1: 1st and 2nd.
Category 2: 1st.
Category 3: 1st.
Ladies: 1st.
Nearest to the Pin.
Lucky Draw.
There will be an approximate increase of 25% in the prize fund.

6. Order of Merit Prizes:
1st-3rd overall
1st in each category
1st Ladies.

7. Ties are decided by low handicap, then by best last 9 holes, then by best first 9 holes, then hole by hole from 18 down.

8. Format: Individual Stableford played under the established Rules of Golf plus Costa Esuri Local Rules.

9. The tournament will alternate fortnightly between the East and West Courses. (course maintenance permitting)

10. The Entry Fee includes 2 drinks tokens and the meal during the prize giving.


I am always interested in your opinions. Let me know if there is a change you would like to see. Or even if you just don't like the new name.

I think this format will make for a true competition, without losing the sense of fun that the Torneo has always aspired to.

Normativas del Torneo:

1. El Torneo se jugara en 3 categorias:
Categoria 1: Hombres y Mujeres HCP< 17.9
Categoria 2: Hombres y Mujeres HCP 18.0-27.9
Categoria 3: Hombres y Mujeres HCP> 28

2. Un certificado de Handicap es necesario

3. La orden de las salidas se decidera de entro delos categorias; alternando entre sorteo, luego por handicap, luego por Orden de Merito.

4. Los puntos del Orden de Merito seran alocados en la siguiente forma:
Categoria 1: 1st-16 points, 2nd- 12 points, 3rd- 8 points, 4th- 6 points, 5th- 4 points, 6th- 3 points.
Categoria 2: 1st- 10 points, 2nd- 6 points, 3rd- 4 points, 4th-3 points.
Categoria 3: 1st- 6 points, 2nd- 4 points, 3rd- 3 points.
Participacion, todos los categorias: 1 point.

5. Premios:
Categoria 1: 1st and 2nd.
Categoria 2: 1st.
Categoria 3: 1st.
Mujeres: 1st.
Mas cerca a la bandera.
Sorteo.
El fondo para los premios subirá aproximadamente un 25%.

6. Premios del Orden de Merito:
1st-3rd global
1st en cada categoría
1st Mujeres.

7. En caso de empate el ganador sera; primero por handicap mas baja, luego por los mejores ultimos 9 hoyos, luego por los mejores primeros 9 hoyos y luego por el mejor hoyo desde el 18 hacia abajo.

8. Formato: Individual Stableford jugado con las Reglas de Golf Español y los reglas locales de Costa Esuri.

9. El Torneo se alterna entre los campos Oeste y Este por quincena. (si permite el mantenamiento del campo)

10. La entrada incuye 2 tickets de consumicion y la comida durante la entrega de premios.


Me gustaria saber lo que piensas de los cambio, si hay algo que quieres ver añadido, o si simplemente no te gusta el nuevo nombre.

Creo que esta nuevo formato creera un Torneo verdadero, sin perder el sentido de humor que siempre he querido mantener.
